In
August 2007,
LiveStage Performance
presented
ELEKTRAFIRE
a modern rock opera
as part of the
NEW
YORK INTERNATIONAL
FRINGE FESTIVAL
Founded
in Boston in 1996,
LiveStage immediately became
one of the best-known modern theater companies in the region with their
inaugural presentation,
the rock and roll psychodrama
PINK FLOYD's THE WALL.
LiveStage
then staged an
orignial rock opera in 1998,
ELEKTRAFIRE
a modern rock opera,
which drew sell-out crowds and critical acclaim from the city's
major daily news outlets.
In 2005, LiveStage
Performance
staged its NYC Debut,
JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR
which brought excellent audiences and reviews. 2007 brought the company's 2nd production, to the heart of Greenwich VIllage.
ELEKTRAFIRE
a modern rock opera
opened at the legendary
Village Theatre
to strong critical acclaim.
